National Librarian day

Pt. J.L.N. Government College Faridabad celebrated the National Library Day with great enthusiasm and fervour. The festivities included Tree Plantation, Book Exibition and Poster Exhibition. Dr. Sunidhi, HES I, Principal, Government College for Women, Faridabad, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Dr. Ritika, Dr. Archna and Dr. Sushil Verma were the special invitees to grace the event.
Dr. Sunidhi inaugurated the Book exhibition where more than 200 new books were on display. About 50 posters were also on display, on the theme of books, learning, reading and the special bond between readers and libraries.
Dr. Sunidhi made the occasion very special and memorable by sharing a poem she wrote for this occasion. Dr. Neer Kanwal, Dr. Amrita Shri, Mrs. Poonam (Department of Hindi) and Dr. Durgesh also shared their favourite poems.
In his congratulatory message sent on this occasion, Principal Dr. M. K. Gupta exhorted the students and faculty to spread the culture of reading and sharing books towards building a better environment for learning together.
Dr. Arun Lekha presented Vote of Thanks towards the distinguished guests, organisers, and the august gathering.
